Liberty State Park, NJ: Anneth's Birthday Party

Several days ago, we shared a photo of our retro-inspired photo booth against the New York City skyline. Who would've thought that it would inspire one special lady's unique birthday celebration?

The photo that inspired the party. Pretty as a postcard, isn't it?

Anneth reached out to us with a special request. It was her 30th birthday, and she wanted to do something memorable. She didn't want a run-of-the-mill party like going to Las Vegas to celebrate what they call the Dirty Thirty. She wanted to be with family and friends close to home. When she told us about her idea of holding her party at Liberty State Park and using NYC as her backdrop, we couldn't believe it! We have been wanting to do an event using only natural elements as a backdrop, and here was our chance.

Come Sunday there was a huge picnic buffet set up for 50 of Anneth's guests. The kids were playing games and the grown-ups were relaxing on picnic blankets. But the best thing of all was (drumroll, please) going on a wagon ride around the park! How awesome is that?!

Well done, little lady. We hope you go on more memorable adventures in your red wagon. Again, we wish you a happy birthday! Thank you so much for having us.

Piscataway, NJ: Nikki's Graduation/Birthday Party

They say good food, good music, and good company make for a good party. But why settle for good when you can have a great one? After all, getting your college degree is a huge deal. So we added our vintage photo booth and cool props to the mix, and watched this crazy bunch let loose and have an awesome time.

We are happy to have been there to take part in the fun, sweet, and 'creative' moments that transpired -- we're totally digging the creepy eye, though we'd prefer not to see it before bedtime.

Congratulations and happy birthday, Nikki! We wish you all the best, and we hope you had a blast.

"And now go, and make interesting mistakes, make amazing mistakes, make glorious and fantastic mistakes. Break rules. Leave the world more interesting for your being here."

New York City Wedding: Dominique + Jorge

The Office of the City Clerk was quite busy, even a little chaotic, with dozens of couples awaiting their turn to wed. There was a steady buzz of conversation as families and friends greeted each other, interspersed with laughter and cheers. It is, by all accounts, business-as-usual and yet, there was an undeniable excitement in the air on that gorgeous summer afternoon.

Dominique and Jorge looked dapper in their matching bow ties and dazzling smiles. The simple ceremony attended by close friends and family served to highlight what was truly important -- the celebration of their journey towards a lifetime of love.

It was indeed a day of happiness topped with a surprise serenade from Dominique.

Dominique and Jorge, thank you for letting us document your special day. We are truly honored to have photographed such a wonderful couple. We wish you love and laughter, 'whenever, wherever'.
